It’s a slimmed down version of my mini haul posts.
Today’s post is about a new store I discovered (Earthbound Trading) and an old favorite (Neiman Marcus Last Call). Let’s start with Earthbound Trading! My mom and I were walking around the mall and I saw a bohemian style shirt on display. We decided to look around because they had different sales going on throughout the store. They had buy one get one half off and 30% off of sale items.
I tried this on in store and instantly fell in love. I should have taken pictures in-store, they had better lighting. I tried taking a few pictures of this dress but they don’t do it justice. Here are better pictures of the dress. Online it’s available for $35.97 but I got it in-store for $21.96.
I also got a pair of cute lapus lazuli studs too.
Here’s a close up of the details in the stones.
Lately, I’ve been wearing them with my gold hoop earrings from Blue Nile.
Next, we have my dress from Last Call.
I was wondering around the sale racks as usual and found this Moschino Cheap and Chic dress. Originally it was $395 but with the 75% sale they had going on I got it for $98 ($104.68 after tax).
I couldn’t pass it up. I felt like a goddess wearing this in the dressing room.
Time for close ups!
The fabric of this dress is very slinky and drapes beautifully.
I noticed there’s the little hooks that I think you connect to your bra straps so they don’t show. Or maybe so it doesn’t slide off the hanger. I haven’t tested either theory out yet.
When I was shopping in-store I couldn’t place the season or collection this was apart of so I did some research on Vogue’s runway archive. This is from the Moschino Cheap and Chic Resort 2011 collection.
I discovered Kim Kardashian wore this dress in a photoshoot.
Trina also wore this dress for an event.
A bit random but funny. I look forward to rocking my seven seasons old dress soon lol.
I hope y’all enjoyed this super short post. It’s actually going to be the last one for a while. I’ve been thinking for a few months now about what direction I want to go with SCJ. With my last year of college wrapping up, I think it’s best to focus more on me and prepare for post-college life. So I decided to take a break from blogging. I’ll still be active on my personal insta and Tumblr . I want to thank everyone again for reading SCJ and whatever I decide to do with SCJ I’ll update to let everyone know.
